The much anticipated release of YaBB, version 2.3, is here! This is one of the biggest and best updates to the YaBB 2 line. Several new and long overdue features have been added – you’ll recognize them as the most popular BoardMod modifications for YaBB. Overall, 16 large features have been added. On top of that, dozens of bugs, layout issues, spelling errors, and documentation deficiencies have been corrected!

Just in time with the new YaBB 2.2 we present a new BoardMod version: 2.5.6. It now comes with initial support for YaBB 2.1 and 2.2. Furthermore all outstanding bugs have been closed for this release. See below for a complete list of changes. An update is very easy, just run the installer.

It has been a long time since the last YaBB release. But it was worth the waiting as it comes with tons of features that were only available as mods in the past.
Since YaBB introduces a lot of code changes, most mods will need a rewrite to work with it. For that purpose two new boards have been created: one for Y2.2 final mods and one for beta mods that still need testing.
BTW: we still need a couple of moderators for the new boards. So if you want to give it a try, let me know.
